WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – An older building in Warren is getting a facelift to accommodate the newest Akron Children’s Hospital facility.
Akron Children’s Hospital is putting a new Pediatrics Primary Care office at the site of the former American Red Cross on Mahoning Avenue. The 50-year-old building is being completely redone.
When it is finished, patients can make regular appointments or come in during walk-in hours.
“Whatever is most convenient for the family, and that is the goal, just to make convenient, cost-effective primary care for the children,” Leslee Fetterhoff of Akron Children’s Hospital said.
The new medical office will be ready for patients in July.
